Thank You!!!

I just wanted to take the time to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has called, emailed, visited, commented on the blog, etc. All of your thoughts and prayers are so powerful and it is overwhelming to see how much everyone cares and is so supportive of Brian and I during this time. I probably won't be able to respond to everyone's calls and emails, but please know that everyones words are very comforting and makes us realize how great God is to give us such a wonderful support group of family and friends.

I also wanted to send a special thank you to our church hometeam who surprised us before we left with a "hat party". It was completely unexpected and Brian and I were both overcome with emotions as everyone came in and gave Brian a hat and their favorite encouraging bible verse to remember. Only the best hometeam in the world would do something like that!! We brought all the hats with us and hope to be wearing them around Houston soon.

We miss everyone and hope to be back in Dallas soon.
THANK YOU!!!!!!

Hey Panda and Brian,
Just wanted to let you know you're in our thoughts and prayers at this very minute! We do wish we weren't so far away so that we could come to you in person, but this will have to do for now. We missed you while we were in Oklahoma, but were glad to know you were where you needed to be to get this taken care of. Continue to let us know how to pray for you specifically, ok? We love you and know that God has a mighty plan for your lives. These trials will only be temporary, but what you will gain will be long-lasting. Faith that has been tested by fire produces patience and wisdom, and finally a character that is strong and complete. The Lord knows your needs better than any of us, but instructs us to keep praying constantly, earnestly, and with thanksgiving, so rest assured..that's exactly what we intend to do. We love you both very much! We'll stay in touch.

Hello Brian & Amande,
My family and I are praying for you as you face this challenge. I have often been told that it is a compliment from God to be given a difficult trial in your life. My favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and have courage. Do not be afraid, do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go." HE is with you on this journey and HE will give you strength when your humanity won't.
My heart and prayers are with you! Tracy

Hi Brian and Amanda,
I wanted to drop you guys a note to let you know that Kayla, myself and four little prayer warriors are praying for you guys. I think it's been well stated throughout your blog about the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and what he can do. But let me put into my own words what is simply stated in John 14:1 ("Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." NIV), trust in the host of heaven and all he has in store for you for you will be stronger and prove to be a mighty witness throughout this trial. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Hey Brian and Amanda, just a note to let you know that you have been in my prayers. I am believing for a full and total recovery. I know that we all believe in the amazing healing power that comes to us through our amazing savior. We missed seeing you at Thanksgiving, but we will make up for it next year. Kindra and Angela were disappointed that they didn't get to eat your Dad's Buttermilk pie. Angela says his is better than mine...I'll be working on that. Just know you are loved, and in our constant thoughts and prayers. Love you both...we are a phone call away. Tammy

Hey Brian & Amanda,

It was really great to hear your voice today. I hope you know that you are missed here at the office!

We received the red bracelets today. I will get those passed out tomorrow.

We have had four birthday celebrations this week: Monday, I brought in a white cake w/white icing for Stephen's bday (11/22) and a coconut cream pie for Ted's bday (11/26). Then Tuesday, I brought in a cheesecake w/cherries for Paula's bday (11/27). Today (Wed 11/28), for Gwen's bday, I brought in another cheesecake w/cherries & a german chocolate cake. That is it for the SUPT birthdays until January.

It is time to start registering the foals. I went out last night and marked the registration papers up w/each one's white markings. I had a lot of help - all 9 gathered around me trying to nibble the paper or the pencil, one was behind me tugging on my shirttail (they are so much like kids - it is unreal!).

You two take care and remember if you need anything, please let us know.

Kathie

Hey Brian,

We miss you here. I know, through all of this, God will provide you both some wonderful blessings. We don't know why some things happen, but we do know God has a plan, and as long as we trust Him, blessings will come.

You're my new hero for what you are going through and how you are handling it. I hope I someday have the same courage you do.

Trust in Him,

Robert
